Westlake Rec

We met up with Veronika and gang at the Westlake Rec. playground. Cheryl, Kevin and Kaitlyn also joined us. Natalie was doing a great job in trying to master the monkey bars (because of course, her sister just mastered them the other week so now she has to do it too).

And a last minute surprise was to see Caroline from Little Learners/Hunt Club showed up. So, Caroline came with us, and everyone went to McDonalds.  They all had such a great time playing in the Play Land. Caroline then headed back to our house for some playtime in the sand.

Beach Cliffe Park with Lucy

Today, we had a last minute trip to the Beach Cliffe Park with Lucy and her mom. The girls all played on the playground, made a few trips up the steps to sit on the glidder swing, chatted, looked for beach glass and ice cream cone shaped shells on the beach, built sand castles, played with other kids, and walked in the water. I think that they were all disappointed that we didn't have bathing suits however it was a cool day. Then, we ended the day with a trip to Mitchell's Ice Cream Shop. Y U M!

Relaxing day with friends

We spent a relaxing day over at Veronika's house with the kids today. All the kids (Will, Gina, Isa, Natalie, Gabi and Isa's friend, Ava) all played so nicely, that Veronika and I got to relax and enjoy some uninterrupted conversations. They had a dance party and a lunch party.  Will handled being out numbered by the girls very well.  And then at the end, before Ava left, the girls had a tickle fight with Ms. Veronika.  Fun time with a great friends.

First Kiddie Park Adventure

Our first trip to Kiddie Park with Grandma.  The girls rode all the rides and then some, had lunch and cotton candy, giggled, laughed and had smiles on their faces the entire time (except for the first ride for Natalie as she didn't get to sit with her sister Gina so she got off and waited until the next ride.  Boy, she loves her sister).  Hard to imagine that this may be the last season for Gina to do this as she is getting so tall.  Seeing her sitting in the rockets, she just looked so big and grown up.  I went back and was able to find a picture of the girls from June 2009 on the same rockets.  Look how they have grown up.
